L'ECOLE offers a weeklong instructor-led French language program that begins with breakfast and continues until guests break for a midday lunch and leisure activities. Afternoon sessions focus on the conversational French learned in the morning and include visits to the local village market, shops, artist’s studios, museums and historic sites of Tourrettes-sur-Loup and surrounding towns. An afternoon will be dedicated to visiting the world-renowned Fondation Maeght museum followed by dinner at the iconic Colombe d’Or - both in Saint Paul de Vence.

 

In the evening, guests gather at the villa for cocktails on the terrace and a seated dinner - relaxed opportunities to practice newly honed speaking skills and enjoy the best of local French cuisine and wine. 

 

During free periods, guests can also arrange for a private massage or yoga class at the villa.

Our in-house chefs welcome you into the kitchen to dive into the fabled art of French cooking. Roll up your sleeves while discussing the history of French food and its regional distinctions, where to source local ingredients, the subtleties of French wine and how to pair it with different menus. Each session will conclude with an aperitif on the terrace followed by a dinner consisting of the day’s creation.

 

For those looking to extend their French cooking experience, L’ECOLE can organize additional classes in Paris, Lyons, or other culinary meccas.

Where better to enjoy a weeklong yoga retreat than in the privacy and tranquility of Le Mas du Cassan? With twice-daily yoga and meditation classes taught by a certified yoga instructor, interspersed with dips in the swimming pool and hot tub, and options to add a therapeutic massage or facial, guests will tap into a new level of wellness. With an emphasis on fresh, healthy meals at the villa, dishes can be customized for vegetarian, vegan, or other dietary preferences.
